It is our birthday at Lake Superior Theatre, and we are celebrating YOU! 2018 marks a very special year for us, as it is our 20th anniversary. It is your support and patronage that made this possible, and we thank you from the bottom of our heart. Someone once said that the Inuit of Canada’s North have over 100 words for snow, and we wish there were that many for thank you so we could use every one of them to thank you. We believe the best way to celebrate is to work hard to improve our venue, our offerings, and our attendees’ experience. To that goal, we always love to hear from you with any suggestions for LST. Years ago, Pat O’Day suggested that I write about my passion during our summer season in the Marquette Monthly and it has been such fun. Many of you have been instrumental in supporting us for the last 20 years and we are so glad you are with us … and we will continue to do everything we can to keep a smile on your face.
Smiles, after all, are healthy! One of the easiest and cheapest ways to boost your health, your mood, your longevity, and even your success is to smile. Smiles do a lot more than simply let the world know you’re happy. People who smile and laugh often are less likely to develop heart disease. Smiling also temporarily reduces blood pressure. Can you deduct your season tickets to LST as a medical expense? Hmm…
