Father Marquette celebrates Catholic Schools week

Father Marquette Catholic School is celebrating National Catholic Schools Week 2016 through Februrary 6 with family and community events centered on this year’s theme of, “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”

This annual week of events includes:

• February 2, the middle school will host a Family Fun Night from 5 to 7 p.m. All Catholic parish families are invited to come and enjoy tacos, games, school tours and activities for students ages pre-K through grade eight.

• During the week, there will be several in-school events and activities for enrolled students and Catholic families alike. Activities for enrolled students and their families will include a Penny Dunk, Dress as a Saint Day, Ski Day at Marquette Mountain, an Essay contest, Sledding, Bowling, Talent Showcase Day, Beach Day and much more.

• FMCS families will celebrate the end of Catholic School Week at St. Peter Cathedral with an All School Community Mass with liturgy celebrated with Monsignor Michael Steber.
